We understand that you are unique and so we offer a modern and collaborative approach to treatment. Unique to our practice is our holistic space which offers you access to our meditation room and city retreat garden. We can support you through a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, for example:

Is short term therapy right for me?

We will discuss the therapy options with you. We offer a robust initial 75 minute assessment tailored to your specific needs. It’s at this stage we will decide whether a short course or longer term psychotherapy is needed depending on your goals and complexity. We put you in control by giving you a personalised treatment plan. Our approach is collaborative and time sensitive offering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and relational models of therapy.  

Our short term therapy integrates the mindful approach and is delivered over 6-12 sessions and thereafter by 50 minute follow on sessions. We are dedicated and highly experienced professionals passionate about giving you a sense of empowerment and working towards you feeling confident and well again.

We understand that therapy can feel daunting. From the initial consultation you will leave our practice with a sense of being understood and a clear therapeutic plan. We are genuinely here to support you and take pride in the best possible outcome for our clients.

I found Dr Kinsella from Mindful Psychology by searching for people in my local area as I was struggling with my mental health, following a breakup and generally struggling to function day to day in work and at home. Therapy was new to me, and I wanted to find someone who I could trust and found out that Dr Kinsella specialised in Men’s mental health and this I believe made it easier for me. I originally did face to face sessions but moved to online and found the transition to be no issue and would say just as good, Dr Kinsella is lovely and I cannot thank her enough for all the support given and the skills and tools I have to help me day to day, I feel re energised and know that I’m much wiser and equipped to support me with life in general.
