Our mindfulness courses run right through the year and are targeted for the general public no previous experience of mindfulness is needed. Just your intention to develop a life that you flourish in. So what happens on the course?

As Psychologists, we have worked through the pandemic and we are very aware of the challenges we are all facing together. We are passionate about the benefits you will experience in coming to our mindfulness programmes to support you in navigating the on-going challenges we are all facing.  There has never been a better time to engage with the mindful approach and connect with yourself and others in a safe, nurturing environment in a unique space, complete with our city garden retreat space.

Delivered by Dr Amanda Kinsella and colleagues.  Amanda has delivered over 200 courses and has designed the programme to integrate mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT). It’s based on extensive research and is approved by the NHS.

From the moment you arrive you will be greeted with warmth respect and assured of confidentiality. Over the weeks, Dr Kinsella will explore how to develop mindfulness to your body and mind. The enviroment is calm friendly and relaxed. Open to all we would encourage you to take advantage of our free telephone consultation with one of our psychologists we would love to hear from you.   

You will learn to respond and notice how you relate to your experiences, both within yourself and towards others. Breaking the habitual patterns that keep you stuck and not reaching the change you seek.You will see a reduction in stress and chainging  unhelpful relationships such as  Yo Yo  dieting, alcohol, smoking, and ending negative patterns in relationships. Dr Kinsella and her team are here to ensure that you develop a life that you flourish in .

  • 2 Hours  A time to pause and  train in moment awareness and relatedness
  • Based in the heart of Chester located in Newgate Street. A unique calm space for mind and body
  • Up to 16 participants (*note: 10 maximum during pandemic)

  • Develop self soothing and quietening the self critic
  • Develop and enhance relationships : Stop negative pattterns in relationships

  • Emotional hygiene when working from home: Fostering boundaries and healthy ways to navigate work-life balance
