The course will run for 6 consecutive weeks from Thursday 5th November 7pm-9pm until Thursday 10th December 7pm-9pm, with the additional city garden retreat day occurring on Sunday 13th December 10am-3pm.

As Psychologists, we have worked through the pandemic and we are very aware of the challenges we are all facing together. We are passionate about the benefits you will experience in coming to this 6 week mindfulness program to support you in navigating the on-going challenges we are all facing. There has never been a better time to engage with the mindful approach and connect with yourself and others in a safe, nurturing environment in a unique space, complete with our city garden retreat space.

Delivered by Dr Amanda Kinsella and colleagues. Amanda has delivered over 150 courses and has designed the programme to integrate mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT). It’s based on extensive research and is approved by the NHS.

From the moment you arrive you will be greeted with warmth and understanding. The course benefits from full use of bespoke meditation room and numerous breakout rooms in our holistic City Centre building. We have a unique garden which is ideal for contemplative practice. Over the weeks, Dr Kinsella will explore how to develop mindfulness to your body and mind. You will learn to relate to yourself differently and break the habitual patterns such as yo yo dieting and over-using alcohol in times of stress. We will explore unhelpful relationship patterns and give you strategies for effective comunication and attract positive relationships. Unique to our approach is our city garden retreat day.We are confident that you can maintain the changes that you seek.   • 6 weekly meetings plus city Sunday revive day (Thursdays 7pm-9pm from 5th November through 10th, then Sunday 13th December 10am-3pm)
